Our Story
Building a future where every woman thrives
How It All Began
The Edvins Women Foundation was born from lived experience. Dr Ijeoma understands the reality of abuse, the weight of raising daughters through difficult seasons, and the courage it takes to rebuild a life.
As she began her own healing journey, she met other women facing similar struggles. Single mothers carrying heavy responsibilities. Women recovering from broken relationships. Many had no safe place to speak openly or find steady support.
What started as personal encouragement and small circles of conversation grew into a clear mission. With the support of her daughters and the opportunity provided through a recent grant, that mission is now becoming the Edvins Women Foundation.
Today, the foundation offers mentorship, emotional wellness support, and a community rooted in faith and compassion. We are a mother and her daughters committed to helping other women rise, rebuild, and move forward with dignity.
